Development Manager; Java

• Provide constructive feedback and influence the performance and career development of high performing engineers.
• Full ownership of the Full Stack of our products, contribute and collaborate with peers on cross team initiatives.
• Continuous collaboration with stakeholders across multiple departments and teams to understand their business and product strategies and translate those into strategic technical plans.
• Decide with senior management in developing long-term technology road maps and execution of existing initiatives.
• Lead multiple projects – including planning, prioritization, and task delegation.
• Enforce accountability for the quality of software that is created.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

• Proven leader in hiring, mentoring, coaching and developing engineering talent, including performance management.
• We are seeking an experienced Development Manager with strong expertise in Java backend systems and modern frontend technologies such as React and Next.js, capable of leading the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will drive architecture decisions, ensure engineering best practices, and mentor teams in building robust APIs and user-centric web solutions. Exposure to Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI) technologies is a plus.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 – 155,000.
