Business Overview
The Full Stack Developer, Investly is responsible for building and maintaining Java and React.js applications. This role involves modern Java architectures, Object‑Oriented languages (Java, Kotlin, C#, Objective‑C/Swift), cloud technologies (AWS), front‑end frameworks (React JS, Node.js), and mobile frameworks (React Native, Swift/Objective‑C, Kotlin/Java).
Key responsibilities include understanding complex business problems and translating them into practical, high‑impact technical solutions.
What You Will Do- Liaise with internal user groups to program applications based on business and systems requirements.
- Collaborate with peers and partners to deliver high‑quality projects and innovative solutions.
- Ensure functional specifications can be implemented technically and develop creative solutions.
- Design, develop, enhance, modify, and maintain application code and software solutions according to business requirements.
- Apply Agile and Dev Sec Ops best practices to deliver quality products predictably.
- Develop unit tests and maintain high code quality.
- Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance; interact with users to define system requirements and modifications.
- Strong planning and software implementation skills.
- Knowledge of non‑functional requirements, including security, performance, and data management.
- Experience in user interface and API implementation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to drive consensus among key stakeholders.
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of Java development, using SDKs and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, and Spring Test.
- 2+ years of React, React Native, or mobile development is an asset.
- Experience with MySQL or similar SQL‑based database systems.
- Interface with back‑end applications using MQ, SOAP, RESTful services, and JSON.
- Web development with React JS or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Agile project management tools (JIRA) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Developing AWS or other cloud solutions following industry best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate product demos, collect feedback, and implement improvements.
- Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: annual range $135,000 to $152,000.
- RRSP contribution after 6 months of employment.
