Position Title:

Java Backend Kotlin Developer

Location:

Toronto, ON - Day 1 onsite

• Develop, implement, and maintain Kotlin-based mobile and web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new features
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Create and maintain technical documentation Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT industry with good experience in JAVA/J2EE and restful web-services development.
• Experience with injection frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot is a must.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Kotlin development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with a good understanding of its basic syntax and language features
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Experience with mobile and web application development
• Experience with cloud-based technologies and services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
