Automation Engineer

Base pay range

CA $37.00/hr - CA $37.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable automation frameworks for UI, mobile, API, and microservices testing
  .
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and/or Python
  .
• Automate RESTful API and microservices testing for functional, integration, and regression scenarios.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Dev Ops practices
  .
• Collaborate with development, QA, and Dev Ops teams to enable continuous testing and delivery.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain test environments and support automation execution across different platforms.
• Ensure test coverage, code quality, and adherence to best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Hands‑on experience in UI and mobile application automation

• Solid experience in API and microservices automation testing
  .
• Proficiency in Java and Python programming.
• Experience with CI/CD tools
  , especially Jenkins
  , and Dev Ops workflows.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and communication skills.
