Responsibilities
- Full Stack Engineering:
Design and develop both frontend and backend components using Drupal, Symfony, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Architecture & Design:
Apply modern architectural principles to create cloud-based solutions that are reliable, secure, and performant.
- Search & Data Management:
Implement and optimize search capabilities using Elasticsearch and manage data across relational and non-relational stores like Postgre
SQL and Redis.
- API Integration:
Design, construct, and integrate RESTful API services to ensure seamless communication between the frontend UI and backend logic.
- Dev Ops & CI/CD:
Build and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines, promoting best practices for automated delivery.
- Quality & Testing:
Conduct comprehensive end-to-end, cross-browser, and device testing, ensuring all applications meet WCAG 2.0 (AODA) accessibility standards.
- Agile
Collaboration:
Participate in design sprints, contribute technical ideas, and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Qualifications
- PHP Framework Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience in a professional environment implementing large-scale solutions with Drupal and Symfony.
- Modern Web Tech: 3+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks and Elasticsearch.
- Database Proficiency:
Demonstrated experience with Postgre
SQL (relational) and Redis (non-relational/caching) data stores.
- Cloud & Dev Ops:
Strong understanding of cloud delivery models and hands-on experience with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD tools.
- Standards & Compliance:
Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and experience running automated test scripts.
- Methodology:
Proven ability to work within Agile teams, participating in sprints and eliciting requirements from diverse stakeholders.
- Education:
Specialist-level knowledge in programming, analysis, and architectural design patterns.
