Description
- Hybrid: 3 days in office (505 University Ave, Toronto), 2 days remote
- Seeking two experienced Full Stack .NET Core Developers to support the modernization of a legacy Case Management System. The successful candidates will migrate existing functionality written in Classic ASP/VBScript into a modern .NET Core architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Modernize and rebuild legacy Classic ASP/VBScript components using .NET Core
- Develop backend components using C#, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server
- Build responsive UI with HTML5, CSS/SASS/SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
- Analyze legacy code and implement modern equivalents
- Use Visual Studio as the primary development environment
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies
- Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, and Entity Framework
- Proficiency with Visual Studio
- Solid SQL Server experience (queries, stored procedures, optimization)
- Strong front-end skills:
JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, SASS, SCSS, Bootstrap - Experience with Classic ASP / VBScript migration
- Experience with Dev Ops tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated builds)
- Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
