We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Python and Robot Framework to lead automation initiatives across complex applications. The candidate should have a strong background in designing scalable test automation architectures, integrating automation with CI/CD, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in Agile environments. Technical Responsibilities Framework Development & Maintenance Architect, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks primarily in Python and Robot Framework.

Create and maintain custom Robot Framework libraries in Python for project-specific needs.

Build reusable and modular automation components for UI, API, and DB testing.

Test Automation & Execution Develop and maintain automated regression, smoke, and end-to-end test suites.

Implement data-driven, keyword-driven, and hybrid automation strategies. Configure and execute automation in headless browsers and distributed environments. CI/CD & Dev Ops Integration Integrate automation suites with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops, Bamboo).

Implement parallel execution, reporting, and result dashboards. o Optimize automation pipelines for speed and reliability. Collaboration & Leadership Partner with developers, QA, and Dev Ops engineers to ensure automation aligns with sprint goals.

Perform code reviews for automation scripts and enforce best practices.

Mentor junior engineers on Python scripting, Robot Framework best practices, and advanced debugging.

Required Skills & Experience Programming:
Strong expertise in Python (OOP, decorators, fixtures, file handling, API interaction). Automation Tools:
Expert in Robot Framework (keywords, variables, resource files, custom Python libraries).

Web/UI Testing:
Hands-on with Selenium Library, Browser/Playwright Library in Robot Framework.
API Testing: REST & SOAP automation using Requests Library, REST instance, or custom

Python modules. CI/CD & Dev Ops:
Strong in Jenkins pipelines, Git Lab CI/CD, Docker containers for automation.
Version Control:
Git (branching strategies, pull requests, merge conflict resolution).
OS & Environments:
Experience across Linux, Windows, Dockerized test environments.
Agile Practices:
Working in Scrum/Kanban teams with Jira, Confluence.
Nice-to-Have Skills Familiarity with pytest and integrating it with Robot Framework. Cloud-based test execution (AWS Device Farm, Azure Test Plans, Browser Stack, Sauce Labs).
