Experience and Skills:

• 3+ years enterprise web application development with Java, J2EE, and Sybase/SQL Server
• 2+ years development with Struts, Apache Tiles and Spring Web framework. Strong command of all aspects of Spring framework.
• 2+ years development with ORM solutions, specifically JPA/Hibernate
• 2+ years development REST and SOAP web services using Spring MVC
• Experience designing large scale Java applications with high availability
• Experience with web application refactoring
• Complete full lifecycle application development experience including understanding requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and performance tuning
• Knowledgeable in Object Oriented Development principles
• Exposure to current best practices of software development including refactoring, test driven development, and continuous integration
• Experience developing automated unit tests with JUnit and Selenium
• Working knowledge of development using one or more middleware such as Sun One, Apache, Tomcat, Web Logic, or Jboss
• Experience with one or more version control tools such as PVCS, Subversion or CVS
• Experience with developing build and deployment scripts using Maven
• Experience with one or more continuous integration tools such as Ant Hill Pro
• Experience with implementing solutions for secure web applications

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in MIS, CS or other technology related field
