Mobile QA Engineer

As a Mobile QA Engineer, you will work closely with Product Stakeholders, UX Designers, Developers, and fellow QA Engineers in an Agile, cross‑functional environment. You'll gain hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge tools, gadgets, frameworks, and technologies, while shaping the future of IoT.

• Advocate for quality throughout the development process.
• Perform comprehensive testing to verify, validate, and reduce risk, ensuring the delivery of top‑quality products.
• Automate tests, contributing to building scalable, reliable systems.
• Provide valuable insights from planning through deployment, ensuring testing is integrated early in the process.
• Engage in a variety of challenges, whether testing monolithic applications, microservices, or creating and executing unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests for applications leveraging the latest mobile technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of QA experience.
• Critical thinker with a passion for quality and software testing.
• Curiosity and resourcefulness to identify problems and devise creative solutions.
• Extensive experience with software testing techniques, methodologies, and tools.
• Strong representation of the QA team in cross‑functional meetings, advocating for quality at every decision‑making stage.
• Hands‑on tinkerer who loves creating apps and robots in spare time.
• Collaborative work in an agile, fast‑paced development environment.
• Documentation of test plans, cases, bug reports, and research findings.
• Experience writing test automation scripts using Python and Appium.
• Comfort with testing native apps, APIs, integration, exploratory, performance/load/stress, usability, accessibility, and security.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Circle
  
  CI, or similar.
• Preferred:
  Familiarity with Swift, Kotlin, Espresso, or XCUITest.

The employee is regularly required to talk and hear; use hands to manipulate objects or controls; stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25‑50 pounds. Occasional travel may be required.
