Jerry.ai is building the first AI‑powered All Car™ super app to make car ownership affordable, seamless, and even magical. From insurance to repairs to road safety, we’re connecting the entire car ownership experience into one mobile‑first platform. Our revenue has grown 60x in the last 5 years, we’re profitable, and our goal is to scale from 5M → 50M users next.

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take full ownership of our infrastructure. This role is a critical point in our rapid scaling phase, and we need a seasoned professional who can lead the charge in building, maintaining, and optimizing the core systems that power our business.

In this role, you will be the key driver of automation, scalability, and reliability across our entire infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. It’s a hands‑on position that also requires you to design and implement solutions that enable our engineering teams to move faster and deliver high‑quality products.

• Take full ownership of Jerry’s infrastructure, managing our cloud accounts end to end and ensuring robustness and security.
• Develop systems and components to improve operational simplicity and reliability of Jerry’s product systems (monitoring, deployment automation, diagnostic tools, etc.).
• Develop systems and tools to manage security access and capacity planning of cloud resources.
• Partner with product teams to guide systems architecture and offer suggestions for reliability and optimization of production systems.
• Serve as the shepherd to coordinate Jerry’s production incident handling across teams.

• Experience building infrastructure for a scaling company.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with Amazon AWS services (ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, Elastic Cache, ELB, ECR, CDK, etc.).
• Deep experience with Kubernetes and familiarity with Terraform.
• Meticulous attention to detail to keep systems always up.
• Solid coding skills in Python or Golang; familiarity with Node.js and Type Script; strong system analysis and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent teammate with strong communication, collaboration, and technical writing skills.
• Highly motivated and thrive in dynamic, fast‑paced environments with a passion for scalable, highly available systems in the cloud.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed on this posting, determined based on job‑related factors. In addition to base salary, the compensation package may include equity grants.

Pay Range: CA $120,000 – CA $130,000
