As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our core product, responsible for both technical leadership and hands‑on development. You'll build the critical backend systems and data pipelines that handle millions of orders and power our global offline communication platform. This role requires a pragmatic backend engineer who can contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, from architectural design to implementation and ongoing maintenance.

• API Design:
  Architect and maintain scalable REST APIs that can serve a multitude of use cases without breaking backwards compatibility.
• Backend Engineering:
  Optimize existing Node.js services by unlocking performance opportunities with Rust.
• Data & Logistics:
  Build ETL workflows to route millions of orders across our growing network of partners.
• Internal Tooling:
  Create internal tools that enable our sales and logistics teams to better serve our customers.
• Developer Enablement:
  Write clear API documentation and guides that enable developers to better use our APIs.
• Strategic
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with our product managers and customers to ensure your work translates into business impact. You’ll also collaborate with our founders to generate growth ideas and improve existing processes.

You are a pragmatic and experienced backend engineer with a passion for solving complex, large‑scale data and logistics challenges. You have a track record of building and shipping high‑quality software and thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment where you’re dedicated to helping both your team and your customers succeed.

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience, ideally with Node.js, Python, or a similar language.
• Professional experience building APIs with Node.js, Type Script, and Mongo
  
  DB.
• Experience writing API documentation and communicating with customers.
• Experience working with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Vitest.
• Strong technical writing skills, ideally demonstrable through project or customer‑facing documentation.
• Professional experience creating frontends with Type Script and React.

• Experience with Rust / C / C++.
• Experience working with AWS Lambda, S3, SQS, Batch, etc.
