Full Stack Engineer

Ultrassure is building AI‑powered contract intelligence for the insurance and reinsurance industry. Our platform, Ultra Contract, is trusted by insurers, MGAs, brokers, and reinsurers processing $1.5B+ in premium across Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, and the United Kingdom. We’ve raised a pre‑seed round and are on track to close our seed this summer. We’re a small, focused team that ships daily and moves fast.

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer who loves building and shipping product every single day. You’ll work across the entire stack—frontend, backend, Dev Ops, and AI—in a high‑impact role where your work directly shapes the product. This isn’t a “wait for the sprint” environment. If you thrive on momentum and want to see your code in production daily, this is the role.

• Next.js, Type Script
• Shadcn/ui components, Tailwind CSS
• Turborepo monorepo architecture

• Django, Python

• Google Vertex AI, Claude Enterprise, Amazon Bedrock, Azure AI
• AWS and Azure for ingest orchestration

• Claude Code (frontend), Codex (backend)—we ship with AI tooling daily

• Strong experience across the full stack (frontend, backend, Dev Ops)
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, ship‑daily environment
• Experience with Type Script, React/Next.js, and Python/Django
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Interest in AI/ML tooling and integrations
• Based in Toronto and able to work from our Bay & King office 3 days per week
