Field Service Technician - GTA
Field Service Technician (Full-Time) – North York, ON
Our client, a well-established and globally backed industrial organization, is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers across the GTA. This is a full-time, field-based role offering long-term stability and strong technical growth potential.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of specialized bulk systems and related equipment at customer sites. The role also includes supporting small on-site systems, equipment upgrades, and piping installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot bulk supply systems and associated equipment
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Perform welding and brazing as required
Diagnose and repair electronic controls and instrumentation
Coordinate contractors and support project execution
Respond to service calls, including occasional after-hours support
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in a related discipline (C.E.T.) or Journeyman certification in Electrical, Instrumentation, Refrigeration, Welding, or a related trade
3–5 years of relevant field service or industrial equipment experience (asset)
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working independently in a field-based, primarily outdoor environment
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and general computer systems
Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety
Physically fit and able to lift up to 60 lbs
