PALLET RACK REPAIR INSTALLER
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Installation Manager, the Pallet Rack Repair Installer is responsible for installing Damotech pallet rack repair solutions in customers warehouses, working in teams of two. Installations are performed on existing steel racking systems already in place in the warehouses. This position is highly physical and requires the ability to regularly lift and handle heavy loads, as well as to frequently work in awkward or constrained positions.
A good level of physical fitness is therefore essential to perform the duties safely and efficiently.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
Here’s what you can expect:
- Work in a team of two installers to install pallet rack repair solutions in various warehouses.
- Use a variety of tools to install Damotech products (concrete drill, Sawzall, grinder, band saw, various drills).
- Represent Damotech when interacting with customers during on-site installations.
- Company truck provided for transportation to job sites.
- Perform quality control and cleanup at the end of each workday.
- Clean the installation site at the end of the day and at the completion of each project.
- Ensure that documents related to purchase orders are properly completed by the client
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE YOU BRING
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role (construction, manual labor, renovation, etc.).
- Ability to lift heavy loads, always in compliance with H&S guidelines.
- Ability to work in awkward or constrained positions for extended periods (squatting, kneeling, working with arms overhead, etc.).
- Proficiency in using tools such as a concrete drill, Sawzall, grinder, band saw, etc.
- Strong sense of autonomy.
- Team player who is punctual and well organized.
- Bilingual in English and French (an asset, but not required).
