Job Overview

Role Details- Licensed trades (433A, 442A, 309A): $40.25/hr – $45.25/hr

Licensed Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Primary Responsibilities- Uphold Riverside Core Values.
- Lead compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety.
- Attend breakdown calls, troubleshoot mechanical & electrical issues.
- Escalate recurring problems to supervisor.
- Perform minor repairs, equipment set‑up, change over, overhaul, fabrication.
- Preventive maintenance on equipment: mixer, slab forming, wrappers, robotic pick & place, case packer, tunnel oven, conveyors.
- Provide technical assistance in preventive maintenance optimization.
- Assist outside contractors, ensure GMP policies.
- Record work data, log spare parts, maintain housekeeping & safety.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Reports directly to Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Qualifications- Minimum 5 years as Millwright Mechanic, Maintenance Technician or Electrician.
- Certified NOC 7311 or Red Seal Millwright or Provincial Electricians Ticket (433A, 442A, 309D).
- Experience with vertical wrapper, horizontal wrappers, robotics pick & place, tunnel oven.
- Knowledge of PLC, robotics, HMIs, Allen Bradley controls.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Hands‑on skills: power transmission, electrical controls, pneumatic/hydraulic, welding, brazing, soldering, servo motors.
- Machining skills on lathes, milling, drill press.
- Rigging & hoisting experience.
- Flexibility to work afternoons and weekends.
- Competitive hourly rate $40.25/hr – $45.25/hr.
