310T Technician; Afternoon Shift

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Compensation: $40-$46/hour + Benefits

About the Company:

Our client sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America in order to ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste.

They are expanding at a rapid rate and are seeking to add licensed 310T Technicians to their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, cranes, skid steers and forklifts
• Maintain company trucks/trailers
• Perform preventative maintenance and CVI inspections on trucks/trailers
• Perform scheduled repairs on trucks/trailers
• Ensure running repairs are performed on trucks/trailers as per pre/post inspections
• Repair forklifts, skid steers and cranes where possible
• Complete all required paperwork and log repairs
• Maintain inventory of parts and order as required
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certification
• Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience working on heavy equipment
• Strong communications skills (written and verbal)
• Must be comfortable working in all types of weather
• Must be physically fit with ability to stand for long periods of time
