• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of construction equipment (including earthmoving, aerial, and compact equipment) on customer jobsites. Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs in the shop as needed.
• Provide a high standard of customer service in all interactions with customers.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance, and work orders in a thorough and timely manner.
• Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policies.

• 4+ years of mechanical experience working on a variety of construction equipment.
• Valid class G driver's license with clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points).
• Red Seal / Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician License (421A or 310T) or equivalent work experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Must be available and willing to work overtime and as part of an on‑call rotation.
• Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools.
• Expertise in diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Customer‑oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Eagerness to continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging technology.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a strong focus on following procedures and promoting a safe work environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
