Vacancy Status:

As a Maintenance Worker, your primary responsibility is to perform day‑to‑day maintenance and customer‑service duties required to keep the property safe and presentable for customers, staff and tenants, by:

• Performing daily property inspections and promptly reporting repair needs
• Conducting minor property repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to dry‑walling, painting, landscaping, basic plumbing & electrical
• Ensuring property safety and responding to tenant concerns
• Maintaining property cleanliness and curb appeal
• Collaborating with contractors, providing excellent customer service, and assisting in coordinating work with stakeholders

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who are customer‑service focused and have a can‑do attitude. If this opportunity sounds interesting to you, you likely have the following attributes:

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required; college diploma an asset
• 1 year experience in a similar field
• Knowledge of a trade or HVAC, etc. an asset
• Experience in building maintenance with working knowledge of plumbing, drywall, and tile work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to operate power tools and equipment
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic PC skills
• Strong communication skills
• CPR and First Aid certification an asset

Expected Hourly Range: CAD $24.00 - $26.00.
