Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting skilled tradesmen and operational teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - 442A Electrician

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Pay Range: $88000 - $90000 plus bonus and overtime

Shift: Monday to Friday - 8am to 4pm

• Supervise a team of skilled tradesmen including Millwrights and Electricians and maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation of machinery and equipment
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications of production machinery, plant equipment, and facilities
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and prioritize repair activities to minimize downtime
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures using computerized management systems
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment and machinery

• College Diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred; 442A Electrician is required
• Minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in maintenance or related fields
• Strong knowledge of building systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and reports effectively
• Experience with in Automotive or Steel industry is an asset
