: $19.00/hr.

This position requires a personal vehicle with G2 or G license and must be able to clean shave for N-95 mask fit test.

• Working on assigned shifts at different sites in all regions.
• Provide proactive and reactive security patrols in buildings and hospitals; respond to fire and emergency incidents.
• Display excellent customer service skills and work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance.
• Provide Use of Force/Restraint as required and directed under the Mental Health Act.
• Provide security escort service to staff and visitors as requested.
• Provide motor vehicle assistance to staff and/or visitors as required.
• Maintain accurate logs/notebook entries of all shift activity and calls for service; write accurate reports upon investigations or occurrences in a timely manner.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and, when necessary, apprehend or evict violators from premises using force.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized access or unlawful activities.
• Control access at entry points and ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises.
• Assist in enforcing company policies and procedures; monitor and report suspicious activities.
• Report incidents, accidents, or security breaches promptly to the management team.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and security equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Cooperate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other authorities when necessary.

• Immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and
  2).
• Valid Security License for Ontario.
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB-approved provider.
• Covid Vaccine with two doses.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Willing to meet N95 mask fit clean-shaven requirement.
• Must have a reliable vehicle.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).
• Willing to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check upon offer of employment.
• Must provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB).
• Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UOF/MOAB training prior to onboarding; training is not paid, but costs are covered by Paladin with a 6-month commitment.
