Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard – Pharmaceutical Warehouse in North York, ON.

Title: Security Guard – Pharmaceutical Warehouse

Type: Full Time

Location: North York, ON (close to Dufferin and Steeles)

Pay-rate: $20.58/hour

Shift: Various, Flexibility to work any shift is required

Due to site requirements in pharmaceutical, individuals will be required to provide proof of vaccination for the following:

• Diphtheria
• Pertussis
• Tetanus
• Flu

Provincial coverage for vaccinations. Additional fees will be covered by Allied Universal that are associated with the vaccination process.

Allied Universal is currently hiring experienced Security Professional for our operations in North York, ON. The ideal candidate will be a skilled professional with strong communication abilities, a readiness to work rotating shifts, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team. • Monitor access control and CCTV systems
• Patrol large areas, on foot and by vehicle
• Communicate professionally with staff, including site management and security teams
• Handle security incidents and emergencies calmly and efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and consistent security coverage
• Conduct regular patrols and site inspections to maintain security standards

• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must have 1–2 years of experience in a Hospital or Corporate Office Building.
• Must be 25 years of age or older due to company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Valid Ontario G‑class driver's license is preferred and clean driving record.
• Eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours a week, due to shift requirements.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Standard CPR or willing to obtain one (reimbursement will be provided)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and use of computers
• Proven experience with CCTV camera monitoring.
• Position requires "foot patrols", extended periods of walking (indoors/outdoors)
• Ability to drive in all weather conditions, as patrols are required using company vehicles.
• Standard First Aid and CPR (reimbursement provided where necessary)
• Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 15 kilograms.
