As a Tactical Security Guard supporting CBSA operations at the airport

Schedule:
Weekends only - 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00

Employment Type: Part‑Time

Ensure the safety and security of individuals, property, and assets within the CBSA airport facility

Escort detainees within the premises using restraints when required

Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and composure when interacting with individuals under stress

Observe, monitor, and report detainee behaviour and safety concerns

Perform frequent wellness and safety checks

Operate security systems, software, and equipment effectively

Respond promptly to emergency situations using tactical communication and de‑escalation techniques

Complete clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports

Valid First Aid and CPR certification

Advanced Security Training (AST) – considered an asset

Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident with a minimum of 5 years residency in Canada

High school diploma or equivalent (proof required)

Ability to successfully obtain Public Works Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check

Minimum 1 year of experience in a tactical security role

Strong ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional in high‑pressure environments

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
