Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard - Medical Distribution Centre in North York, ON.

Title: Security Guard - Medical Distribution Centre

Type: Full‑Time

Location: North York, ON (near Dufferin and Steeles)

Pay Rate: $19.50 - $20.18/hour

Shift: Swing Rotation (flexibility required to work any shift)

Due to site safety protocols, candidates must provide proof of vaccination for:
Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus, and Flu. Additional vaccinations may be mandated in the future based on site requirements or changes to health and safety protocols.

Allied Universal is hiring experienced Security Guard for our Medical Distribution Centre in North York, ON. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and comfortable working rotating shifts. If you have prior experience in security, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high standard of professionalism, we want to hear from you.

• Monitor access control systems and CCTV to ensure site security at all times.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, both on foot and by vehicle, maintaining a visible security presence.
• Respond promptly and calmly to security incidents, emergencies, or breaches.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, management, and fellow security team members.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift handovers and consistent security coverage.
• Perform routine inspections of the site to maintain safety, security, and compliance standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience
• 1-2 years of experience in Hospital, Corporate, or Warehouse security
• Must be 25 years or older (insurance requirements for company vehicles)
• Valid Ontario G‑class driver's license required
• Eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours/week
• Valid Ontario Security License
• Standard CPR (or willing to obtain; reimbursement provided)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CCTV monitoring
• Physically capable of foot patrols and lifting up to 15 kg
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
