• Site: Seneca Polytechnic - Newnham
• City: North York, ON
• Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
• Status: Full‑Time
• Hours: Continental Rotation – 0700‑1900/1900‑0700
• Pay Rate: $20.00 – $21.50 an hour
• Internal Posting Date: February 17, 2026
• Internal Closing Date: February 24, 2026
• External Closing Date: March 3, 2026

• Conduct proactive foot and vehicle patrols throughout Newnham's extensive facilities, academic buildings, residence, and student spaces
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and medical emergencies with confidence and care
• Provide excellent customer service and information to students, visitors, and faculty
• Monitor access, enforce campus policies, and assist with crowd management during events
• Prepare thorough incident reports and assist with investigations
• Engage with Toronto Police, Fire, EMS, and campus partners as needed

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Ontario Security Guard License
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Strong communication skills and an upbeat, professional attitude
• Ability to handle fast‑paced, diverse campus demands
• Prior post‑secondary or healthcare security experience an asset
• Bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus
• Must not be a current Seneca student at Newnham

You will be the trusted support for students living away from home—helping create a safe, welcoming residence environment. You'll respond to a variety of needs, from safety concerns to student wellness, playing a key role in residence life.
