Position: 1 Queen St East Training Supervisor Days.
Job Description:Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and trainingEnsures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shiftEnsures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site security policies and proceduresPlans and implements shift work schedulesEnsures all Security Officers have received the mandatory trainingMotivates staff and issues commendationsDisciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head officeAttendance ManagementPerforms security auditsDocuments and investigates security incidents and complaintsProvide proactive and reactive security patrols.Communicates any concerns/issues with Client Service ManagerRequirements & Qualifications
Supervisory or Team lead experience (2+ years) is considered an assetDemonstrated knowledge of CCURE 9000, ANGUS, or comparable security management systems.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.Proven experience onboarding and training new staff in a site-based environment.Ability to create, update, and maintain clear and effective training materials for leadership review and implementation.Post-secondary education in a law enforcement or security program from a recognized college is an assetWorking knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health ActStrong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in EnglishDemonstrated punctuality, reliability, tact, and diplomacyMust demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligenceAbility to handle stress, make sound decisions under pressure, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentHigh level of attention to detail and observational awarenessComfortable working in busy, highly populated areas, both indoors and outdoorsPhysically capable of standing, walking, and patrolling by foot or vehicle for extended periods (8–12 hours)Legally authorized to work in CanadaWhy choose Paladin?
