Senior IT PMTarget
Start Date:
Immediately
Contract Duration: 12 months (potential for extension or conversion)
Remote/Hybrid: Tues, Weds, Thurs in office
Location: Downtown Toronto
Hours: 40 hours/week
Rate: $70-80 T4
Responsibilities- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple projects across Capital Markets, FX, and Payments domains.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring cost control and ROI realization.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and issues; develop mitigation plans and drive resolution.
- Implement and refine project management best practices to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality delivery.
- Ensure project alignment with industry regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Minimum 10 years of previous experience as an IT PM ‑ preferred banking background.
- MS Project / Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Jira / Confluence.
- Previous stakeholder management experience.
- Experience with release planning.
- Solid financial acumen with experience in managing project budgets exceeding $5M.
- Experience with Azure (completed 2‑3 migration projects) – 3+ years.
- Capital Markets products.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
- FX trading processes and Payments.
