This premier location houses Nike’s flagship store, Mango, Chick-fil-A, Scotiabank, Ballroom Bowl, and AVANT by Altea.
Position: Part Time Security Guard
Site: One Bloor, First Capital
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday (0000 - 1200)
OT Method: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) After 88 hours
Key Responsibilities:
Being alert and observant while being outside, standing or walking for an extended period in all weather conditions (Rain, Snow, Excessive Heat & Cold…etc.)always Maintain communications with fellow Security Guard/dispatchers, Cliental and Paladin Managerial Staff.Ensures all site staff adhere to all Paladin Security policies and proceduresCompleting mobile patrols diligentlyDocuments and investigates security incidents and complaintsCommunicates any concerns/issues with Supervisor/Client Service Manager or the clientAlways Maintain the highest standard of security, being professional in attitude, appearance and applicationRepresent Paladin Security, Yorkville Village and their respected customers in such a way as to enhance the quality, image and reputationPerform security duties in accordance with established procedures. Ensure they are being conducted within the limitations of any federal, provincial and municipal lawsBe observant and record all discrepancies, deficiencies and safety hazards/concerns noted during patrols and take corrective action either informing the applicable department or handling it personally, whenever possibleBe courteous, and helpful in enforcing all company policies, procedures, rules and regulationsRespond immediately to any emergency and co-ordinate response accordingly based off established proceduresPrerequisites:
Valid Security License for the province of OntarioValid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)Covid Vaccine two dosesValid G class Driver LicenseMust provide drivers abstract. No more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three yearsEnglish (oral and written) fluency is a mustPrevious experience in security, law enforcement, or a related fieldMust be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)Legally authorized to work in CanadaWhy choose Paladin?
