Position: Security Team Lead

Site: University Health Network – West Park – 170 Emmett Ave, York

Overtime: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Status: Full‑time

Hours: Continental Nights (1800‑0600 hrs.)

Pay Rate: $21.59

• Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training
• Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift
• Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site‑specific security policies and procedures
• Plans and implements shift work schedules
• Ensures all Security Guards have received the mandatory training
• Motivates staff and issues commendations
• Disciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head office
• Performs security audits
• Documents and investigates security incidents and complaints
• Provide proactive and reactive security patrols
• Communicates any concerns/issues with Client Service Manager

• Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider
• COVID‑19 vaccine – two doses
• Proof of up‑to‑date immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and two‑step tuberculosis skin test
• Must be willing to complete N95 mask fit testing during the training
• Vulnerable Sector Check
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare supervisory experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure
• Proven ability to train, direct, and motivate staff
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Must provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
• Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's UOF/MOAB certification program prior to onboarding to meet the requirement

The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as a pre‑employment requisite;
Paladin will cover all training costs with a 6‑month commitment to the position and availability.
