Position Details: Full-Time Security Guard
Site: Colliers International – West Metro, 195 The West Mall, Etobicoke, ON M9C 5K1
Overtime: Employment Standards Act
Hours: Monday to Friday (08:00 – 16:00)
Payrate: $18.92/hr

Key Responsibilities- Be able to comprehend and demonstrate competencies of Colliers and the Security policies and procedures with a customer service approach
- Assist visitors and employees during crises and contact the necessary emergency services as needed
- Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly
- Conduct proactive patrols (exterior and interior); address policy breeches and note facility concerns
- Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner to prevent panic
- De-escalate crises, provide support, and liaise with emergency personnel including police, fire and paramedics
- Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries
- Provide first aid and medical response when required
- Maintain positive and constructive relationships with The Client’s staff and external clients by providing timely and accurate support
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider
- English (oral and written) fluency
- 3 years of security experience is an asset
- Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's UOF/MOAB training prior to onboarding
