TPX is seeking an Account Executive, Business Development who not only thrives on exceeding sales targets but also values collaboration, teamwork, and positive relationships, both internally and externally. What you will do:
Prospect, pitch, and secure new business:
- Identify and target a high-volume of new business opportunities for brands, primarily through ad agencies to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals frequently that showcase the value of podcast advertising and TPX’s services.
- Customize solutions to meet client objectives and close deals that drive revenue, often within tight timelines.
- Work seamlessly with cross-functional team members and clients to deliver great results for our clients while embodying our core values.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients of all sizes by ensuring we exceed their expectations and identify new opportunities to support their needs.
- Provide outstanding client service to retain business and build brand loyalty.
Industry Expertise & Reporting:
- Stay up to date on the overall advertising industry, most specifically digital and audio as it all relates to podcast industry trends.
- Regularly track sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue performance in Salesforce.
- Report progress to leadership and provide insights to improve strategies.
- Proven Sales Success: A minimum of 3 years of experience in new business development. Experience in digital media sales, especially podcast advertising is an asset.
- Strong Established Relationships: Strong relationships with key decision-makers at all levels.
- Self-Starter Attitude: You’re a highly motivated, results-driven individual who thrives on achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand client needs and craft customized advertising solutions.
- Exceptional Communication and Presentation
Skills:
Skilled in both verbal and written communication, with the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
Technical
Experience:
High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace and Salesforce.
- Passion for Podcasts: You understand and love the medium.
