Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently looking for a candidate for the position as a field sales representative in our ON office.
Position Summary:
The Food Services – Sales Representative reports to the Food Service Sales Department Manager and is a team-player; supporting the Sales department in achieving sales targets.
The role involves travelling locally to meet customers for sales meetings. The Food Service – Sales Representative meets with local retail stores, restaurants and distributors related to food service sales in order to maintain and grow customers accounts.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain accounts through daily planning and scheduling to engage potential customersUpdate the team with current market insights on products and delivery timelinesInform management through regular reports on activities, results, and weekly work plansAchieve sales targets and objectives, including product promotion and introducing new offerings to meet customer needsEnhance product penetration and establish, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with current and prospective customers to expand the businessManage clearance of short expiry products and conduct product and market researchAddress customer concerns promptly with professionalismEnsure timely collection of payments to prevent aging debtsPossess the ability to lift and carry product cases up to 20kgRequirements/ Must-Haves:
Minimum 1-year of sales experienceBasic product knowledge and sales known-howExperience in planning and implementing sales strategyExcellent communication skills combined with strong presentation and financial management skills.Market development – Ability to open new accounts for restaurant customersCustomer relationship management – Ability to maintain and develop long term customer relationshipsAbility to push and promote products as well as use sales toolsProficiency in English, written and spoken is a mustStrong negotiation and problem solving skillsProficiency with PC (working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)Use of a reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license is requiredAbility to travel to different cities within ONAssets/ Nice-to-Haves:
Over 2 years of restaurant or food industry career/background would be an assetAbility to analyze and identify market trends, changes and implications, develop objectives, strategies, etc.Ability to speak Mandarin/Cantonese will be an assetCompensation & Benefits:
