Account Executive
We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Sales Account Executive to build on foundational success and grow our Canadian client base. As a leading AI company, Cluep offers sales professionals the opportunity to introduce unique, patented AI capabilities to a marketplace of top-tier brands and advertising agencies.
As an Account Executive, your core focus will be a strategic blend of aggressively bringing in net-new business while managing and growing an existing list of accounts. Success involves generating new leads and closing advertising revenue through consultative sales of our AI-driven solutions. Asuccessful AE must have a clear understanding of the client’s long-term business objectives and seek partnership opportunities to further grow the client’s business with Cluep.
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, Canada, and working in close partnership with an Account Manager, thisrole ensures campaign success, business retention, and the identification of new opportunities for account expansion.
- Identify, pitch, and close advertising opportunities within Canadian advertising agencies and brands, focusing on both new and existing Cluep clients
- Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new campaign strategies and solutions to clients and building strong relationships
- Respond to RFPs and develop compelling recommendations based on a deep understanding of customer goals and Cluep’s proprietary AI products/capabilities
- Work closely with your dedicated Account Manager to ensure campaign success, client satisfaction, and revenue growth
- Contribute to end-of-campaign analysis and reporting of results, and develop case studies
- Bachelor’s University/College Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience with a proven track record of success in media sales and/or digital media sales
- Proficiency at winning net new business and strategically growing an existing book of business
- Proven success in building value based relationships with Strategists, Digital Media Planners, Digital Media Managers and Digital Director at agencies and brands
- Experience in developing media/advertising strategies with strong analytical skills
- Understanding of the mobile advertising and programmatic space (RTB, DSP, SSP, DMP)
- Excellent writing and presentation skills, with experience building materials in PowerPoint and Excel
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a passion for effective and innovating advertising
