Our client in North York is a well-established and highly respected commercial insurance brokerage operating within one of Canada’s largest broker networks. Known for its producer-first culture and strong internal support structure, the firm is actively expanding its commercial division and seeking a driven Commercial Producer / Client Executive to join their growing team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced commercial producer who wants to focus purely on business development while being supported by a dedicated servicing and marketing team.

  • Responsibilities

  • Generate new commercial business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach
  • Develop and execute a 3-, 6-, and 12-month sales plan
  • Build and grow a portfolio of mid-market and larger commercial clients
  • Identify opportunities in construction, wholesale, realty, manufacturing, consumer goods, and niche sectors
  • Conduct discovery meetings and assess complex commercial risk exposures
  • Collaborate with internal account management and marketing teams to prepare submissions and close business
  • Maintain strong client relationships focused on long-term growth and revenue expansion
  • Participate in performance reviews and strategic sales discussions
  • Qualifications

  • RIBO license required
  • Proven commercial insurance sales experience
  • Strong new business development skills (true hunter mentality)
  • Business acumen with the ability to engage C-suite and technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable presenting revenue plans and pipeline strategy
  • Existing portable book of business preferred
  • Commercial focus required
