The Territory Sales Manager role focuses on delivering a competitive edge to fleet customers to drive business growth and expand market share. This strategic position emphasizes maximizing the value and market impact of the Goodyear brand. It requires building and sustaining strong relationships with national accounts as well as local customers. The manager also plays a key role in developing existing accounts to strengthen the company’s presence and capture new market opportunities.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead sales within the assigned territory to achieve or exceed individual sales targets.
- Maintain and grow market share with existing customers.
- Serve as a strategic partner to fleet customers across all stages of account management.
- Collaborate with CTSN teams and partner dealers to ensure fleet needs are fully met.
- Develop sales strategies that drive growth within existing accounts, aligned with Goodyear’s overall commercial product strategy.
- Profitably expand business with national accounts and local customers while reducing turnover.
- Champion a solution‑focused sales approach using data and tools within a consultative selling framework.
- Promote the value of Goodyear’s Total Solution to win with fleet customers.
- Deliver comprehensive fleet solutions, including new and retread tire offerings.
- 3 years of sales experience combined with a bachelor’s degree, or 8 years of sales experience as an equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience managing strategic customer relationships.
- Ability to identify growth opportunities by developing or executing innovative sales strategies.
- Background in business‑to‑business sales (considered an advantage).
- Strong expertise in solution‑focused selling.
- Solid time‑management skills, along with strong business and financial acumen to support profitable growth, customer‑service excellence, influence‑based leadership, and effective collaboration (CTSN/dealers, supply chain).
- Organizational know‑how, understanding of how processes work, and strong negotiation skills.
- Bilingual, French/English: communication with Goodyear’s headquarters in Toronto and Akron, as well as sales conferences and training sessions in the United States.
