Position Overview As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be responsible for generating pipeline, booking demos, and progressing opportunities toward closed deals for Inverite’s products. This is a performance-driven sales role focused on outbound prospecting and discovery. You will be on the front lines of growth, engaging prospective customers, qualifying opportunities, and helping buyers understand how Inverite’s solutions solve real business problems.

This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who wants to build strong outbound fundamentals, learn B2B fintech products, and grow into a closing role over time. The role starts with a strong focus on outbound prospecting and booking discovery meetings, with a clear expectation that you will grow into running your own demos and managing deals end-to-end over time.

Responsibilities

Primary Focus – Pipeline & Demos

  • Drive outbound prospecting efforts to generate new business opportunities across:
  • Lenders and financial institutions
  • Automotive dealerships
  • Fintech or software partners
  • Reactivate older or stalled Hub Spot leads through email, phone, and Linked In
  • Execute structured, multi-channel outbound sequences aligned to weekly and monthly targets
  • Research target accounts and identify relevant decision-makers
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads using a defined qualification framework
  • Book and conduct discovery meetings, progressing toward running demos and managing opportunities end-to-end

Core Responsibilities

  • Clearly articulate Inverite’s value proposition and how our products solve customer pain points and business problems
  • Handle common objections and tailor messaging based on buyer feedback
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, activity tracking, and meeting notes in Hub Spot
  • Collaborate closely with your Sales Manager and Marketing on messaging, campaigns, and outbound strategy
  • Continuously refine outreach based on performance data and buyer insights
  • Deliver a professional, high-quality experience for prospective customers
  • Act as a brand ambassador in all external communications
What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

  • 1–3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or outbound B2B sales role
  • Strong written communication skills (email and Linked In outreach)
  • Comfortable speaking with senior leaders and decision-makers
  • Experience working with a CRM (Hub Spot preferred)
  • Coachable, persistent, and motivated by clear performance metrics
  • Resilience and the ability to handle rejection without losing momentum

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in fintech, lending, payments, or SaaS
  • Exposure to automotive sales or vehicle lending
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience
  • Familiarity with outbound tools (sequencers, dialers, enrichment platforms)
  • Basic understanding of open banking or API-driven products
  • Prospecting experience in Canada and/or the United States
