Account Executive, Marketing & Partnerships

About Our Client: Our client is a growing real estate investment organization. Organization has less than 25 employees.

Position Scope

Are you a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives on building new business, closing deals, and seeing the direct impact of your work? Our client is looking for an Account Executive, Marketing & Partnerships to help drive revenue growth through strategic brand relationships. This role is well-suited to someone who loves the chase of new business, understands how brands think, and is energized by pitching, negotiating, and closing meaningful partnerships.

You will work closely with senior leadership, internal teams, and prospective partners to grow the brand partnerships pipeline while ensuring a seamless transition from sale to execution.

This is a sales-driven role with real ownership over pipeline development, outreach, and deal progression. The Account Executive owns the full sales cycle – from prospecting through close – and plays a key role in ensuring a seamless transition into long‑term partnerships.

This is a hybrid role – 2 days per week in office (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and 1 Wednesday out of every month in the office.

Responsibilities New Business & Revenue Growth
  • Proactively identify, research, and pursue new brand partnership opportunities aligned with company growth goals
  • Own outbound sales efforts including prospecting, outreach, and follow-ups
  • Manage and evolve pitch materials, proposals, and sales collateral
  • Lead sales meetings; collaborate with marketing team to develop and deliver high-impact pitch presentations
  • Drive prospects through the full sales funnel, from first contact to signed agreement
  • Customize agreements and lead negotiations in partnership with leadership
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records, pipeline tracking, and sales activity documentation
  • Regularly report on pipeline health, forecasting, and revenue performance against targets
Account Kickoff & Partnership Transition
  • Lead and support the onboarding and kickoff process for newly closed brand partners
  • Ensure a smooth handoff from sales to internal execution teams by coordinating timelines, expectations, and deliverables
  • Support onboarding and early-stage relationship management to establish trust, clarity, and long‑term partnership success
Team & Business Support
  • Contribute to new initiatives, growth opportunities, and process improvements as the business evolves
  • Share insights, wins, and opportunities during team meetings to support collective success
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to continuously improve sales, onboarding, and partnership workflows
What Success Looks Like
  • Consistently building a healthy, active pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Hitting or exceeding new business and revenue targets
  • Creating strong internal alignment between sales, strategy, and execution teams
  • Building long-term brand relationships that grow over time
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong communicator with persuasive presentation and copywriting skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working with CRMs and sales tracking tools
  • Proficiency in G‑Suite, Microsoft Office, and presentation tools (Canva experience a strong asset)
  • Understanding of social media and branded content is an asset
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel occasionally
  • Valid driver’s license
Education and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, and/or brand partnerships
  • Proven track record of long-term client relationship management (3+ years) is required
  • Experience in an agency, media, or partnerships-driven environment is required
