SUMMARY

About the Role – Sales Coordinator

Salary Range ($50,000-$60,000)

The Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of Park Hyatt Toronto by serving as a key connection between the Front Office, Sales, and Events teams. This existing position is being filled to support the continued growth of our sales operations and enhance service delivery for our guests and corporate clients.

In this role, the Sales Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for group and meeting bookings, assists with incoming sales inquiries, and ensures clear communication across departments so that all client commitments are delivered accurately and seamlessly. This position offers valuable exposure to hotel sales operations and serves as a strong foundation for career growth within Hyatt.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as one of the first points of contact for incoming sales and group-related calls, responding promptly and professionally to both internal partners and external customers
  • Support the Sales team with administrative tasks related to group and meeting bookings, including room blocks, contracts, reporting, and client notifications
  • Assist with group resumes, event orders, billing details, and other documentation as required
  • Support pre-event, on-site, and post-event coordination by tracking details and ensuring accurate communication between clients and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within Hyatt sales and property management systems
  • Develop working knowledge of hotel offerings, including food and beverage services, function space, audio-visual capabilities, and guest room inventory
  • Learn and utilize digital sales systems such as Delphi, CI/TY, and PMS to support sales strategies and departmental goals
  • Participate in sales meetings, conference calls, reporting, and training sessions as required
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments in a unified and professional manner to support overall hotel success
Qualifications
  • Previous hospitality, administrative, or sales support experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems or willingness to learn hotel sales platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, service-driven approach
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
