Role Overview
As Account Executive – Industry Sales, you will be responsible for winning new enterprise customers directly across multiple industries. You’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure targeting mid‑market and enterprise clients such as law firms, insurers, financial institutions or other industry verticals. You’ll work closely with marketing, alliances, and customer success to ensure adoption, satisfaction, and long‑term growth.
This role is ideal for a driven, entrepreneurial seller who thrives in a fast‑moving, AI‑first environment and wants to grow with equity participation in an emerging tech leader.
- Own the full sales cycle – from initial outreach to negotiation and closing deals.
- Target enterprise accounts in banking, insurance, legal, and corporate sectors for direct adoption of AI.
- Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, and referrals.
- Conduct discovery sessions with senior decision‑makers (CIO, COO, GC, Head of Function) to identify automation and AI opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to run tailored campaigns, demos, and product showcases for specific verticals.
- Build and manage sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and deal velocity tracking.
- Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and high customer retention.
- Develop deep product understanding to confidently demo and position our AI products and services against competitors.
- Represent our AI products at industry events, round tables, and executive briefings to build market visibility.
- 5–10 years of experience in B2B enterprise software sales (AI, SaaS, workflow automation, or productivity software).
- Proven success in closing enterprise deals (ACV $50K–$500K+ range).
- Experience selling to C‑level executives and department heads in legal, insurance, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of enterprise buying cycles, RFPs, and procurement processes.
- Confident communicator who can lead product demos, presentations, and proposals with clarity and conviction.
- Skilled in solution selling, value‑based sales, and ROI storytelling.
- Self‑starter with a growth mindset and the ability to operate independently in a startup environment.
- Based in or near the Greater Toronto Area; comfortable with hybrid work model.
