Summary: This role is suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The candidate will focus on expanding Clio’s customer base by consulting prospective clients on Clio's Suite offerings. The role requires excellent organization, agility, confidence, and relationship-building skills, covering all segments from Velocity to Mid-Market. Candidates across Canada, excluding Quebec, are eligible.
Team Role: Our Business Development Representative team drives interest in Clio’s products, working with new customers to provide advice, solve complex problems with business acumen, and generate qualified sales opportunities for our Account Executive teams, directly impacting revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound prospecting via calls to target accounts within assigned segments;
- Making 65-100 cold calls daily to qualify leads;
- Collaborating with Account Executives;
- Raising awareness and interest, setting up product demos;
- Understanding territory/segment, developing solutions, and generating leads;
- Enhancing sales skills through training;
- Adapting to the evolving sales environment;
- Understanding customer needs, differentiators, technical requirements, and demonstrating Clio’s value;
- Reporting weekly activities and results;
- Documenting sales activities in Salesforce and meeting KPIs.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of sales experience or transferable skills, including cold-calling;
- Interest in technology and cloud products;
- Competitive and continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred:
- Experience in tech/IT sales or SaaS companies.
Compensation & Benefits: The base salary is CAD 61,600 with an uncapped commission potential of CAD 26,400. Clio offers competitive pay, health benefits, flexible work, generous time off, RRSP matching, and recognition programs.
