Position: Human Rights Advisor (Spanish)

This Volunteer Placement is Located in: Tegucigalpa, Honduras

Start Date: January 2026

Language Requirements: Spanish and English

Volunteer Role

As a volunteer, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Human Rights and Gender Industrial committees to develop and implement a training action plan focused on Human Rights for the executives, staff, and employees of ANDI member organizations.
  • Assist in the facilitation of training sessions and the preparation of relevant materials.
  • Aid in promoting and sharing the initiatives undertaken by the Industrial Human Rights Committee and its member companies.
  • Support additional HR initiatives carried out by ANDI and Cuso International.
Qualifications
  • A university degree in social science, international development, or a related field, along with equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of issues related to Human Rights.
  • Hands‑on research experience involving various stakeholders, including CSOs, MSMEs, NGOs, and local and national government entities.
  • Comprehension of inclusive and participatory approaches, employing gender‑sensitive methods among diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in the private sector with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within multicultural and interdisciplinary teams.
