Position Overview
Big League Food Company is hiring for a Full
- Time Store Manager to join our Village Juicery Retail Store located at an upcoming downtown Toronto location. As Store Manager, you are accountable for the day-to-day success of the store. You lead by example on the floor, set the tone for service and operations, and build a team that reflects Village Juicery’s commitment to wellness, quality, and community. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced food retail environment and is energized by educating customers, mentoring staff, and contributing to a wellness‑focused brand and community.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, inventory management, and food safety standards

Build, lead, train, and develop a high‑performing team focused on warm, knowledgeable customer service

Drive sales performance while managing labour, waste, and operational costs

Maintain exceptional store standards related to cleanliness, product presentation, and brand experience

Act as the main point of accountability between the store and the head office

What Success Looks Like

Sales targets are consistently met or exceeded

Operational costs are well‑managed

The store is clean, organized, and audit‑ready at all times

Team morale is strong and turnover is low

Customers feel welcomed, informed, and inspired to return

Who You Are

2-3 years experience in retail management, food and beverage experience an asset

Highly organized, accountable, and calm under pressure

A confident, people‑first leader who enjoys coaching and developing others

Comfortable balancing floor leadership with operational responsibilities

A genuine interest and passion for fresh, quality, functional foods, wellness, and customer experience

Experience in quick service retail settings

A background in holistic, nutrition, wellness or health an asset

Food Handlers and Smart Serve an asset

Pay and Schedule

Pay: $22 – $25/hour (including average tips and potential bonuses)

Flexible availability required, including evenings and weekends
