The pay range for the co‑op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role. Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a dynamic and motivated Co‑op Student to join the Front Store Marketing & Promotions team. You’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting national marketing campaigns and collaborating with cross‑functional partners including Merchandising, Legal, Digital, Social, Loyalty, and Agency teams. This is a valuable opportunity to build real‑world experience in retail marketing at one of Canada’s most iconic brands.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Campaign Planning & Execution:
Coordinate the deployment of marketing campaigns (e.g., digital, radio, in‑store), ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery aligned to campaign goals. Support creative reviews, proofing, promotional offer setup, and testing. - Project Coordination:
Track timelines and deliverables; monitor in‑market campaigns, flag optimization opportunities, and support day‑to‑day marketing operations. - Billing & Budgeting:
Assist with invoice processing and maintaining budget control reports. - Post‑Campaign Analysis:
Help compile campaign performance metrics and insights to support continuous improvement.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in marketing, business, or a related field
- Strong project management, organization, and attention to detail
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Interest in retail, marketing, and consumer trends—especially in food, beauty, and health
- Prior marketing, or retail experience is an asset
- Able to work full‑time for the duration of the term
- Able to commute to the office 4 days per week
