We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Merchandising Coordinator to manage the day-to-day details of product flow and assortment planning. The role provides crucial administrative and operational support to the merchandising team, ensuring products are available, accurately priced, and visually appealing to customers. This is a dynamic entry point into Merchandising, requiring a blend of analytical skills, creativity, and strong organizational abilities.
Inthis role you will:
- Provide day to day administrative support to the merchandising team
- Maintain accurate product data, SKU creation, and system updates, including data entry
- Research and send communications to new product vendors
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding SKU-level details, lead times, and product samples
- Assist with inventory planning, forecasting, and managing stock levels
- Analyze sales data, identify top-performing products, generate reports, assist with market research, and use insights for product selection and pricing
- Execute the delivery of packaging, store displays, signage, POP materials, etc.
- As directed, communicate product launches, details of products, and new initiatives
- Support updating, maintenance and organization of store planograms
- Support coordination of product-related training, workshops or other special initiatives
- Be the key support role to stores in the day-to-day requirements of Merchandising which includes responding to and actioning emails, store communication/updates, individual store floor plan/assortment updating and maintenance
- University/College degree or postgraduate certificate in Merchandising, Business Administration or Logistics, or related field
- 4 years’ experience working in a fast-paced environment including at least 1-2 years of experience in merchandising or administration in a retail environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and external vendors
- Creativity and a keen eye for aesthetic presentation and current market trends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel, for data analysis
This is a current open position. The salary range for this position is $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 annually. Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
