About The Merchandising Team:

Our team of trendsetters and brand builders constantly creates original brands, develops new product categories, and starts trends. Some of next season’s most in-demand products may not exist yet in stores or online, but you’ll see them here first!

What You'll Do:

The Merchandising Business Development team provides guidance and support to the omni Merchandising team through proactive insights & information, streamlining ways of working, and serving as a thought partner and dot-connector throughout the business.

  • Brand Governance
    • Work with the Assistant Manager to maintain brand database, analyze the current brand offerings at Sephora Canada, maintain market distribution information, and identify relevant insights.
    • Track competitors, competing brand offerings, and promos to analyze the Canadian-beauty environment holistically.
  • Promo Strategy & Execution
    • Collaborate with Senior Manager to create workback schedules and support on deliverables for upcoming promos and create kick off materials for the merchandising team.
    • Monitor product assortments and advise the team on opportunities based on previous year's successes/opportunities.
    • Updating cross-functional promo trackers with key deadlines and information leveraged by Planning, Merchandising and Marketing.
    • Work with the Assistant Manager to provide a seamless and error-free client experience by executing and validating promo pricing.
  • Merchandising Budget Support
    • Work with cross-functional teams to track monthly brand incubation funds, spending, and invoicing.
    • Collaborate with the Senior Director to track and maintain records of merchandising team travel & expenses.
  • Holiday Support
    • Act as project coordinator alongside the Senior Manager and Holiday project leads to outline Holiday 2026 strategy, key deliverables, and project execution, including cross-functional meetings, presentations for key stakeholders, and pricing.
  • Ad hoc projects & tasks to support the Business Development and Merchandising teams.

  • You're able to work full-time hours (40 hours per week) and can physically be available to go into the office 3 days per week.
  • You're organized and have a knack for time management and task prioritization.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and work best under pressure.
  • You're technically savvy in advanced Microsoft Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, etc.), Word, and Outlook.
