Employment Status: Part‑time

Starting hourly rate: $20.60 per hour

You will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks and related food and beverage items to customers.

• Welcome customers by determining their coffee interests and needs.
• Explain the coffee drink menu, answer questions, and educate customers.
• Prepare coffee drinks following prescribed recipes: espresso, café latte, cappuccino, and other specialty drinks.
• Sell coffee and coffee equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and brewing methods.
• Maintain inventory of coffee beans, pastries, and coffee‑bar supplies.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and request repairs.
• Follow safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Improve quality by evaluating processes and implementing changes for continuous improvement.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous barista experience is an asset.
• Can understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
