Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The role involves ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards and fulfill business objectives. This position requires a proactive approach to testing and a collaborative spirit to work effectively within a team.

• Hands-on experience in testing codes developed with RPG III to ILE RPG
• Solid knowledge with IBM AS400 Control Language
• Good knowledge of IBM Query/400 and IBM Web Query
• Solid analytical skills and ability to multitask

• Global Payments knowledge
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in using Jira

• Test and deliver software to accomplish business outcomes
• Define and execute manual and automated test suites
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
• Contribute to test planning and build test cases for stories in the given sprint
• Participate in test case reviews and make necessary updates
• Collaborate with developers on reproducing, detailing, and documenting reported defects
• Use testing tools and follow processes required to complete testing work
