Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital is a busy emergency and referral hospital currently seeking an Animal Care Attendant to join our Referral Hospital's Diagnostic Imaging Department. This full-time opportunity includes a range of responsibilities that directly contribute to the efficient and effective daily operations of the hospital.

• Assist Doctors and RVTs with procedures, including restraint for IV catheter placement, ultrasound, radiology, CT, and MRI.
• Communicate and coordinate closely with all departments to ensure appropriate accommodation of patient procedures.
• Develop positive interpersonal relationships in a busy, multi-departmental setting.
• Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to put pets and their owners at ease.
• Patient care: walking, feeding.
• General housekeeping duties; pet holding areas, treatment areas, and common areas.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional duties as needed.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Ability to maintain our high standard of care for patients.
• Ability to prioritize and have a team focus.
• Animal handling experience is an asset.
