Position SummaryAs a Personal Support Manager (RPN – Registered Practical Nurse), you will oversee the delivery of client care for a community PSW team in the Toronto Region. You will ensure high quality care is delivered by engaged and experienced PSWs and manage client, employee, and operational metrics to ensure team performance. You will support the team drawing from practical experience and bring strong clinical, customer service and technical skills.

- Provide leadership and engage staff to achieve or exceed performance targets.
- Maximize team performance through effective and efficient use of resources.
- Promote engagement with SE’s private‑pay business as appropriate.
- Utilize projections to determine and forecast resource needs.
- Implement communication strategies to promote shared vision and collaborative relationships.
- Engage with and support special projects or new programs as required.
- Regularly evaluate performance and facilitate development of PSW skills and competencies.
- Coach and manage employees with performance issues and consult HR.
- Interview, select, hire and onboard new employees.
- Follow employee relations/labour relations processes and relevant policies.
- Facilitate and maintain team development and staff education opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements (Employment Standards, WSIB, Health & Safety, etc.).
- Conduct complaint and incident investigations and develop risk‑management action plans.
- Respond to client feedback and service inquiries promptly.
- Ensure client care plans are consistent; support follow‑up visits at regular intervals.
- Communicate with staff and stakeholders effectively and timely.
- Take appropriate action to meet client needs and preclude service refusals.
- Regulated health‑care professional RPN (Registered Practical Nurse), holding a current licence in good standing in Ontario.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma required.
- Minimum 1‑year leadership/management experience preferred; internal employees 1‑2 years.
- Minimum six (6) months community nursing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated Saint Elizabeth values and core leadership competencies.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Outcome‑oriented; able to achieve desired results.
- Sound understanding of documentation standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Excellent computer skills and familiarity with scheduling systems.
- Ability to work in on‑call, after‑hours rotation.
- Valid driver’s licence and vehicle.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Willing and able to provide care for clients if required.
- Performance‑management experience preferred.
