Youth Ministry Intern

Position Overview

The Youth Ministry Intern provides administrative and operational support to TPC Youth Ministries and the Youth Pastor. This role is primarily administrative in nature, supporting the coordination, organization, and tracking of youth ministry activities, programs, and events.

The intern may also assist with youth programming and events as needed. Given the nature of ministry work, tasks can vary and the intern must be able to adapt to changing ministry needs.

Major Responsibilities
  • Assist the Youth Pastor with administrative and organizational tasks related to youth ministry.
  • Provide administrative support for youth programs, events, and ministry initiatives, including registration processes and participant tracking.
  • Support communication and coordination with youth volunteers, students, and families.
  • Assist with preparation of materials and resources required for youth programs and activities.
  • Support the organization and logistics of youth ministry events and gatherings.
  • Assist with ministry planning tasks and organizational projects that support the Youth Ministry team.
  • Provide general operational support for youth programs as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Youth Pastor.

  • Supports the Statement of Faith of The Peoples Church.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing ministry needs and priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle information responsibly.
Working Conditions
  • Vulnerable Sector Check may be required.
  • Interaction with youth, volunteers, parents, and staff.
  • Part-time role (up to 7 hours per week).
  • Support the Vision, Mission, and Statement of Faith of The Peoples Church.
