Job Description:

Position

Purpose:

The Corporate Partnerships Specialist plays a key role in expanding the organization’s reach and impact by helping to build and strengthen high‑value corporate relationships. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, this role supports the development and execution of strategic partnership programs that fuel mission‑driven initiatives. By securing new corporate donors and stewarding existing partners, the Specialist directly contributes to increased revenue, enhanced visibility, and meaningful collaborations that advance the organization’s long‑term goals.

This position is remote, temporary contract role. Compensation will be adjusted to reflect the remote location of the selected candidate.

Key Accountabilities:

Identify and cultivate new corporate partnership opportunities that strengthen the organization’s mission and expand revenue‑generating relationships.

Develop and enhance strategic corporate partnership programs that align with territorial and divisional priorities and meet partner needs.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate and deliver impactful partnership initiatives across the territory.

Oversee project timelines and deliverables to ensure partnership activities are executed on schedule and to a high standard.

Support and elevate the annual Christmas Kettles campaign by enabling strong corporate participation, maintaining accurate records, and leading post‑campaign stewardship efforts.

Drive growth of the Kettles program by assisting in the solicitation and onboarding of new corporate partners.

Provide administrative support and department backup to ensure seamless operations and consistent service across the team.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Qualifications:

Completion of a university program in a relevant specialized area consisting of four academic years in a relevant area.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an events, corporate partnerships, or fundraising position.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships using tact, sound judgment, and diplomacy.

Eager to deepen expertise in acquiring, executing, and stewarding long‑term corporate partnerships.

Comfortable initiating outreach, including prospecting and cold‑calling, to cultivate new corporate opportunities.

Driven to lead projects to completion, overcoming obstacles to achieve desired outcomes.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Canva to produce high‑quality materials.

Knowledgeable about current philanthropic trends at both national and international levels.

Exceptionally organized and detail‑focused, consistently meeting deadlines with accuracy.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is $55,693.49 to $69,616.86 with a maximum of $83,540.23.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
